Subsection 4.9.11 Page Breaks for Tall Display Mathematics
For print output, do nothing additional and LaTeX will do its best to break your display between lines. You can turn this behavior off by setting the
@break attribute on the <md> or <mdn> to the value no. Once you do this, you can then selectively allow a page break after a given <mrow> by setting the @break attribute on the <mrow> to the value yes.
